behind amorfosis

Amorfosis is a boutique wedding film studio founded in 2020 by filmmaker Javier Estrada.

I create wedding films that feel lived-in — intimate, textural, and emotionally honest. My approach blends documentary observation with an editorial sensibility, focusing on movement, light, and the quiet in-between moments that often define a day more than the grand gestures.

Inspired by travel, culture, and human connection, I’m drawn to weddings that feel intentional yet unforced — celebrations where presence matters more than performance. I often incorporate analog elements and subtle retro textures, not for nostalgia, but for feeling. Because memory isn’t perfect, and love rarely is.

On the wedding day, my team and I work with discretion and care, allowing space for moments to unfold naturally. Every film is shaped personally by me in the edit — crafted to feel poetic, immersive, and deeply true to the couple it belongs to.

I’m drawn to couples who value meaning over performance — who want their wedding documented with intention, restraint, and emotional depth.
